What to expect

From the moment you arrive at Westview, you’ll be made to feel at home. Our Welcome Team will meet you at the door with a smile, ready to answer any questions you might have. From there, you can either make your way to our cafe for coffee (free) and a pastry (free), stop by our Welcome Center, or head on in toward the Worship Center or Kid’s Check-In.

Our adult worship experience includes music, a Jesus-centered message that’s always honest and challenging, empowering you to apply Jesus’ words to your daily life, prayer and an opportunity to respond to what God is doing in your life.

What about Kids?

Westview Community Church is full of families of every shape and size. We know it’s not always easy getting everyone out the door to church, but we believe it is worth the effort. They (and you) should expect a combination of Bible-based activities, games, worship, and storytelling in large group and small group formats to make Sunday your kids’ new favorite day.

It’s easy to check-in your child on a Sunday! Stop by the Children’s Check-In area where a volunteer will explain to you our safety and security procedures and get your child checked in quickly. You’ll be issued a security tag that will match your child’s nametag. You will need this security tag to pick up your child at the end of the worship service.

FAQ’s

  • When you walk into Westview, you’ll be greeted by one of our Welcome Team members who can show you where to find the Worship Center, restrooms, and kids’ ministry areas. If you need anything throughout the day, feel free to ask anyone with a “How Can I Help You?” lanyard. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to serve you.

  • Services last about 70 minutes. We generally start by singing a few songs, followed by a message from the Bible. If you want to see our preaching style, check out a few of our recent sermons.

  • Don’t feel like you have to dress up. Most people dress casually, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

  • No worries! Infants are welcome in our Kid’s Ministry, but we understand if you’d rather have your baby with you in the Worship Service.

We have a designated mother’s nursing room where you can tune into the service as needed.

  • Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, addict, atheist, skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at Westview. So come as you are, and we’ll see you this Sunday!
