Brenna moved to Manhattan from a small town in Western Kansas in 2019 to pursue a volleyball career at Manhattan Christian College. Shortly after, she joined the worship team at Westview. She then served as an intern for children’s ministry, then a hybrid role for both children’s ministry and creative arts before accepting a full-time position in 2025. Brenna is most comfortable behind a guitar and loves shepherding others into a space of united worship.
Brenna graduated from MCC in 2023, where she met her husband, Nathan. Together they have a dog, Thor, and a son, Declan. Outside the church, you can find the McNellis family outside somewhere! Renovating a house, deer or turkey hunting, and just spending time outside are all pastimes the McNellis family enjoys.
