Angie is a former special ed. teacher who married into the Air Force. This provided an opportunity for her to be involved in several different ministries at their different duty stations in 6 states and 2 countries. Through leading Bible Studies, teaching Sunday school & facilitating small groups, Angie discovered the joy of using her teaching and counseling experiences to serve women and help them grow in their relationship with Christ. She has been called to use her gifts to encourage, mentor and support the women God places in her life. Angie took on the role of Women’s Ministry Director in 2013 and loves helping women get connected to one another and God. Since her husband Jonathan’s retirement from the military, they have settled down in Manhattan. After volunteering with Homestead Ministries for 6 years, Angie joined the staff and is the Coordinator of Volunteers and Job Apprenticeships. She and Jonathan have 3 children, Elaine, Renee & Nathan, who are either already attending or interested in attending KSU. They spend much of their free time supporting the high school and college bands the kids are involved in.
