WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT WESTVIEW COMMUNITY CHURCH?

From the moment you arrive at Westview, you’ll be made to feel at home. Our Welcome Team will meet you at the door with a smile, ready to answer any questions you might have. From there, you can either make your way to our cafe for coffee and a pastry, stop by our Welcome Center, or head on in toward the Worship Center or Kid’s Check-In.

Our adult worship experience kicks off with a time of music, followed by a Jesus-centered message that’s always honest and challenging, empowering you to apply Jesus’ words to your daily life. We’ll also include a time of prayer and an opportunity to give. During service we will ask you to complete a connect card to provide us an opportunity to say thank you for being our guest and answer any questions you may have.

WHAT ABOUT KIDS?

Westview Community Church is full of families of every shape and size. We know it’s not always easy getting everyone out the door to church, but we believe it is worth the effort. They (and you) should expect a combination of Bible-based activities, games, worship, and storytelling in large group and small group formats to make Sunday your kids’ new favorite day.

It’s easy to check-in your child on a Sunday! Stop by the Children’s Check-In area where a volunteer will explain to you our safety and security procedures and get your child checked in quickly. You’ll be issued a security tag that will match your child’s nametag. You will need this security tag to pick up your child at the end of the worship service.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If this is your first time at Westview, here are a few frequently asked
questions to help you plan your day.

Where do I go when I get there?
When you walk into Westview, you’ll be greeted by one of our Welcome Team members who can show you where to find the Worship Center, restrooms, and kids’ ministry areas. If you need anything throughout the day, feel free to ask anyone with a “How Can I Help You?” lanyard. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to serve you.

How long is the service?
Services last about an hour. We start by singing a few songs, followed by a message from the Bible. If you want to see our preaching style, check out a few of our recent sermons.

What should I wear?
Don’t feel like you have to dress up. Most people dress casually, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

What if I have an infant?
No worries! Infants are welcome in our Kid’s Ministry, but we understand if you’d rather have your baby with you in the Worship Service.

Can I attend if I’m _______________?
Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, addict, atheist, skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at Westview. So come as you are, and we’ll see you this Sunday!
