Joe is a native of central Indiana. He received an Associate's Degree in Architectural Mechanical Drafting from Ivy Tech Community College and is pursuing ordination through The Wesleyan Church. He has been involved in youth ministry since 2003 as well as various speaking engagements for retreats, conferences, and camps. Since June 7, 2008 he has been living ministry alongside his wife Shasta.
